About Me
Dr. Alvarado grew up in Seattle, Washington and has family throughout the Pacific Northwest. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington, where he met his wife while both were studying wildlife biology. After his wife pursued a career as a wildlife biologist, Dr. Alvarado attended medical school at Dartmouth and then completed his residency training in the Bay Area at UCSF.
Dr. Alvarado is a physician at Kaiser Permanente, where he is proud to be part of the Ophthalmology team. He is impressed by the enthusiastic and talented employees who work together to provide patients with the best possible care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Alvarado’s life revolves around his family. He and his wife have two daughters, and they enjoy spending time outdoors swimming, hiking, and traveling.
