Dr. Richard Gruen

Dr. Richard Gruen is an experienced ophthalmologist and eye surgeon at Levin Eyecare. He has been serving the Pikesville and Owings Mills area for more than 35 years. He specializes in diagnosing and treating cataracts and glaucoma, performing cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and intraocular lens implants.

Dr. Gruen earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completed his ophthalmology residency at Sinai Hospital, and pursued a fellowship in Anterior Segment and YAG Laser at St. Luke's Cataract & IOL Clinic in Florida. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. With his extensive training and experience, he provides expert surgical care to help patients maintain and improve their vision.
