About Me
Dr. Rachel Reem is a pediatric ophthalmologist who completed her medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. She then pursued a post-doctoral research fellowship at Case Western Reserve University, followed by an ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Her training was completed with a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Reem is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group. These affiliations reflect her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field and participating in research to improve patient care.
As a pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Reem provides comprehensive eye care for children, including the diagnosis and management of strabismus (eye misalignment) and other pediatric eye conditions. Her training and research background equip her to offer evidence-based treatments and to contribute to advancing the field of pediatric ophthalmology.
