About Me
Dr. Rachel Cook is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and refractive surgery and medical eye disease management. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Christian Ophthalmology Society.
Dr. Cook completed her ophthalmology residency at the Scott & White Eye Institute in Temple, Texas, where she served as Chief Resident. She enjoys educating her patients about best practices for maintaining excellent eye health and strives to ensure they are well-equipped with knowledge about their eye conditions, treatment, and prognosis.
Dr. Cook has been practicing in Brenham since 2015 and is proud to join Marr-Kirkland Eye Center in College Station to continue providing compassionate eye care. She has lectured at community medical education events, provided free eye exams at screening clinics, and served on medical mission trips to several countries.
