Dr. Priti Dehkharghani

Dr. Priti Dehkharghani is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has dedicated her career to eye care, driven by a lifelong fascination with the human body and the complexity of the eye. She earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2007 and completed her ophthalmology residency at Tufts Medical Center, followed by a cornea fellowship at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. Her training has equipped her with specialized skills in delicate eye surgery and comprehensive eye care.

After her training, Dr. Dehkharghani joined the academic faculty at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where she took pride in teaching ophthalmology residents and medical students. She later honed her skills in a busy private practice in New York, becoming an experienced cataract surgeon. She is now pleased to have joined Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, attracted by its patient-centered ethos and reputation for clinical excellence.

Dr. Dehkharghani offers comprehensive eye care, from general eye exams to managing complex eye conditions, and is proficient in advanced cataract surgery. She strives to be an attentive, compassionate physician, providing the highest level of care to all her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities like cycling and hiking, as well as cooking, baking, and spending time with her family, including her two young children.
