Dr. Price Kloess

Price Kloess, M.D., FAAO is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Alabama Vision Center, serving patients in Birmingham. Dr. Kloess specializes in LASIK procedures, laser cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, IOL surgery, and corneal transplantation surgery. He works part time at Alabama Vision Center doing consultations.

Dr. Kloess is a clinical assistant for the Eye Hospital in Birmingham. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and served as President of the Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Kloess earned his medical degree from University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his cornea fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Kloess has been married for over 35 years to his wife and they are members of Mountain Brook Community Church. On the weekends, Dr. Kloess enjoys playing golf, and traveling to new cities, and spending time with his family, including his wife, their three children, and grandchildren.
