Dr. Poonam Doshi

Dr. Poonam Doshi is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. She joined Lexington Eye Associates in 2020 and sees patients at the Arlington and Concord locations. Dr. Doshi has a special interest in caring for children with strabismus, amblyopia, dermoid cysts, and blocked tear ducts.

Born and raised in Texas, she obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas in Austin and her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she was recognized for compassionate care and inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Doshi completed her residency at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University and fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Indiana University.

She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as an active member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Doshi has participated in research, community vision screenings, and international medical missions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, international travel, and salsa dancing.
