Dr. Ankoor Shah is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in pediatric eye care and strabismus. He serves as the Director of Pediatric Ocular Trauma and as a Physician Advisor for the Virtual Visit Program at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Shah is also an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Shah provides expert diagnosis and treatment for children and adults with a range of eye conditions, including strabismus (misaligned eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), retinoblastoma (eye cancer), and Sturge-Weber syndrome. He leads the Pediatric Strabismus Service and also offers care for adults with strabismus. His approach combines advanced surgical techniques with personalized, family-centered care to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. As an expert in pediatric ocular trauma, he manages eye injuries in children with specialized surgical and medical interventions.
