Dr. Paul Boeke

Dr. Paul S. Boeke is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who has cared for patients at Wolfe Eye Clinic as a retina specialist since 2017. He enjoys working one-on-one with patients and values the opportunity to use both medical expertise and surgical skill to help protect vision.

Dr. Boeke earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Missouri Health Care and then completed a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin.

He presents on retina topics such as macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and surgical techniques, and he participates in research studies and scientific publishing in ophthalmology.
