About Me
Dr. Pankaj Gupta is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Spectrum Eye Care who specializes in cornea and refractive surgery. He cares for both adult and childhood corneal diseases, with a particular focus on complex and high-risk cases. His clinical interests include ocular shingles, herpes simplex, neurotrophic keratopathy, anterior uveitis, corneal infections, keratoconus, corneal edema, and scarring. Dr. Gupta performs a full range of corneal transplantation procedures, from penetrating keratoplasty to DMEK, DSAEK, and DALK.
Dr. Gupta brings extensive experience from his previous roles as an assistant professor and director of cornea and refractive surgery at University Hospitals Eye Institute, Case Western Reserve University, where he also served as residency program director. He is passionate about education and has been invited to speak nationally. His commitment to patient care extends beyond the clinic, including fundraising for organ and tissue donation.
