Dr. Omar Solyman

Dr. Omar Solyman is an ophthalmologist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock and Arkansas Children’s Northwest. He cares for infants, children, and adolescents with medical and surgical eye needs, from routine concerns to complex conditions. Families can expect clear communication, age-appropriate exams, and a thoughtful discussion of treatment options tailored to each child’s situation. Dr. Solyman works closely with orthoptists, optometrists, and pediatric subspecialists to coordinate care and support healthy visual development.

Dr. Solyman earned his medical degree at Cairo University’s Faculty of Medicine and completed ophthalmology residency at the Research Institute of Ophthalmology. He pursued advanced fellowship training at the Research Institute of Ophthalmology, the University of Illinois at Chicago, the Wilmer Eye Institute, and the Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor program. In clinic and surgery, his focus is helping kids see their best—so they can learn, play, and grow with confidence.
