About Me
Dr. Nirali Bhatt is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases at the Scheie Eye Institute Perelman. She holds leadership roles as Assistant Section Chief of Ophthalmology at CMC VAMC and serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology. Her clinical practice is dedicated to diagnosing and managing complex inflammatory eye conditions.
Dr. Bhatt treats a wide range of uveitis-related conditions, including anterior uveitis, intermediate uveitis, posterior uveitis, panuveitis, scleritis, and ocular rosacea. She also manages autoimmune uveitis, drug-induced uveitis, and uveitis associated with systemic diseases. Her expertise encompasses both common and rare inflammatory eye disorders that can affect vision.
She is an active member of the American Uveitis Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Bhatt maintains hospital privileges at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and her research contributions include clinical trials and studies on scleritis and intraocular lymphoma. She sees patients aged 18 and older.
