Dr. Nikhil Batra

Dr. Nikhil Batra is an ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery and retinal diseases. He focuses on conditions such as retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disease, and macular degeneration. Dr. Batra is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, reflecting his commitment to both patient care and medical education.

He joined Dartmouth Health in 2015 and practices at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Batra completed his medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Chicago Affiliated Hospitals and a fellowship in surgical retina at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City. He is board certified in ophthalmology.
