Dr. Nicolas Biro

Dr. Nicolas Biro is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery specialist at Pacific Eye Institute. He believes the doctor-patient relationship is invaluable and takes great effort to ensure his patients fully understand their conditions. Dr. Biro specializes in surgery of the upper and lower eyelids, the tear drainage system, and the orbit, and he offers rejuvenation services including cosmetic fillers and botulinum toxin injections for wrinkle reduction. Dr. Biro is passionate about teaching, having recently overseen oculoplastic resident education at two residency programs in New York. While there, he covered two Level 1 trauma centers, repairing fractures and complex lacerations of the face. He has authored multiple publications and presentations and has donated his time as a medical volunteer in the Dominican Republic and India. Dr. Biro is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
