Dr. Michelle Muench

Dr. Michelle Muench is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist serving patients in the Faribault and Northfield areas. With a special interest in cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, she provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. Dr. Muench has been practicing ophthalmology in the area since 2004 and is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of vision.

Dr. Muench's philosophy of care is rooted in compassion and thoroughness. She aims to treat each patient as she would want her own family to be cared for. Having grown up with a blind brother, she developed a deep passion for improving the lives of others through vision care. She finds great reward in seeing how life-changing procedures like cataract surgery can be for her patients.

Dr. Muench completed her medical education at the University of Minnesota, followed by an internship at Gundersen Lutheran and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern. She is proud to practice in her hometown community.
