About Me
Dr. Michael Gagnon is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and refractive surgery at Valley EyeCare Center in Pleasanton, California. He offers a range of advanced procedures including LASIK, advanced surface ablation, no-injection sutureless cataract surgery, and various corneal transplant techniques such as DSEK (sutureless corneal transplants). Dr. Gagnon also treats conditions like pterygium, dry eyes, and performs artificial cornea procedures. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for the front of the eye, helping patients achieve clearer vision through both surgical and medical treatments.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gagnon serves on the clinical teaching staff of the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University, contributing to the education of future eye care specialists. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has published research and lectured nationally on refractive surgery and ocular surface reconstruction.
