Dr. Michael Prokopius

Michael J Prokopius, MD, is an ophthalmologist at UC Health and serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor. He provides comprehensive eye care, with expertise in the treatment of cataracts, blindness, and a broad range of eye diseases. Dr.

Prokopius earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed an internship at Akron General Medical Center, followed by a residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. In partnership with the University of Cincinnati, he participates in research to advance ophthalmology. He sees patients at the Hoxworth Center in Cincinnati.
