Dr. Michael Wood

Dr. Michael Wood is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. He completed his medical education at Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also underwent a medical/surgical internship and residency in general ophthalmology. He then pursued a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellowship at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Wood provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Wood's clinical interests include modern cataract surgery, microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), pediatric ocular diseases, strabismus, and the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. He is committed to delivering excellent care to every patient.
