Dr. Michael Korchak

Dr. Michael Korchak is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in corneal and external disease. His clinical focus is on corneal and cataract surgery, with particular expertise in corneal disease and corneal transplantation. He is committed to providing personalized care to help his patients maintain and improve their vision and overall eye health.

Dr. Korchak completed his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. He then pursued a fellowship in cornea at Weill Cornell Medical College, further honing his skills in corneal surgery and disease management. He is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, which allows him to concentrate fully on patient care.

Dr. Korchak is currently accepting new patients by referral only. He has been recognized for his outstanding care, including being named a Top Doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine in 2026.
