Dr. Michael Herion

Dr. Michael Herion is the Medical Director of Ophthalmology and a board-certified ophthalmologist. His military experience as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve, for which he received an Air Force Commendation Medal, inspired his commitment to providing high quality, patient-centered care to support the eye health and vision of the community.

Dr. Herion treats a wide range of eye conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and pediatric vision issues. He also performs laser eye surgery (LASIK) to correct refractive errors. Outside of his practice, he is a proud Arizona State University alumnus and enjoys attending Sun Devil football games, skiing, and scuba diving.
