Dr. Meghan G. Moroux is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care with a special focus on cataract surgery. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, she is known for a thoughtful, down-to-earth style and for partnering closely with patients to tailor treatments to their goals. She offers thorough evaluations and clear education so people understand their options from start to finish. Dr. Moroux’s interests include diabetic eye care, medical and laser management of glaucoma, and advanced technology cataract surgery, including femtosecond laser-assisted techniques. She graduated summa cum laude from Millsaps College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated cum laude. Dr. Moroux completed her ophthalmology residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., serving as chief resident, and continues to teach Georgetown residents in clinic each month.
