About Me
Dr. Matthew Leidl is an ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist at Boston Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He provides medical and surgical care for glaucoma, partnering with patients to monitor vision, manage eye pressure, and preserve sight over time. He also evaluates and treats cataracts, helping patients understand when surgery may be helpful and what to expect before and after a procedure.
Dr. Leidl completed medical school at Temple University and then pursued ophthalmology training at Nassau University Medical Center, followed by glaucoma fellowship training at the West Virginia University Eye Institute.
