Dr. Matthew Hupy

Dr. Caroline Halbach is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery. She sees patients at Medical Eye Associates locations in southeastern Wisconsin, providing both comprehensive eye care and specialized treatment for conditions affecting the eyelids and tissues around the eyes. Dr. Halbach earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, then completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Minnesota. She went on to an oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where she gained advanced experience in functional and cosmetic eyelid procedures and periocular reconstruction. In clinic, she offers evaluation and management of cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid malpositions, tearing problems, and other medical eye issues, and coordinates surgical care when procedures are recommended. Dr. Halbach is known for listening carefully, explaining options in clear language, and working with each patient to design a treatment plan that fits their goals and lifestyle.
