Dr. Marko Habekovic

Dr. Marko Habekovic is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing medicine since 2004. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, completed an internship at St. Joseph Mercy Health System, and residency at Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and the Kresge Eye Institute. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care to patients in the Grand Rapids area.

Dr. Habekovic offers a full range of eye care services, including comprehensive medical eye exams, routine vision exams, contact lens fittings, and prescription eyewear. He diagnoses and manages common eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. The practice also features an in-office optical shop with advanced lens technology and a wide selection of frames.

Having emigrated from Croatia as a child, Dr. Habekovic speaks fluent Croatian and provides care to a diverse patient population. He lives in Grand Rapids with his wife and two children. Patients appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and careful attention they receive during their visits.
