About Me
Dr. Mark Pavilack is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon at Tidewater Eye Centers. He specializes in advanced corneal transplantation procedures, including DSAEK and DMEK, and was among the first in the region to use toric and multifocal lens implants for cataract surgery.
With over 15,000 cataract, refractive, and laser surgeries performed, Dr. Pavilack brings extensive experience to his patients. He treats a wide range of conditions, including corneal disease, cataracts, uveitis, and provides LASIK refractive surgery. He serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Pavilack has a long history of community service, volunteering with EyeCare America and Mission Cataract, and serving as Assistant Medical Director for the Lions Medical Eye Bank. He is committed to providing high-quality eye care to his patients.
