Dr. Margaret Carter

Dr. Margaret Carter is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing comprehensive eye care in Lake Charles since 2016. A native of the area, she completed her medical degree and residency in ophthalmology at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and joined The Eye Clinic that same year.

Dr. Carter offers a full range of medical and surgical eye services for patients of all ages, from routine eye exams to advanced surgical procedures. Her clinical focus includes the management of cataracts, glaucoma, cornea conditions, and pediatric eye disorders, along with vision correction options such as contact lenses.
