About Me
Dr. Margaret E. Phillips is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic surgery. She treats conditions affecting the eyelids, eye sockets, and tear ducts, offering both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to improve function and appearance.
Dr. Phillips completed her ophthalmology training at the University of Maryland and pursued advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery through programs at the University of Tennessee Hamilton Eye Institute and the Vanderbilt Eye Institute. Before moving to South Mississippi, she practiced as an oculoplastic surgeon at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she was recognized with teaching and patient care awards.
She is excited to serve the Gulfport community, bringing specialized expertise in oculoplastic surgery to help patients with a range of eyelid, orbital, and tear duct conditions.
