About Me
Dr. Marc Abreu is a renowned physician and surgeon who has pioneered the Brain Thermal Tunnel (BTT) method, a breakthrough in non-invasive brain temperature monitoring. He is the Medical Director of the BTT Medical Institute, where he leads a team offering innovative treatments based on cerebral thermodynamics. His work focuses on providing new therapeutic possibilities for patients with complex neurodegenerative and oncological conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and various cancers.
Dr. Abreu’s academic and scientific career spans internationally. He completed his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at the Escola Paulista de Medicina, Federal University of São Paulo, and furthered his training at prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Yale Medical Schools. He has served as a faculty member at both Harvard and Yale, and co-directed the Interdisciplinary Research Group on BTT. His research has led to over 116 patents and more than 30 scientific publications.
The BTT technology developed by Dr. Abreu, including the FDA-cleared Abreu BTT 700 System, is used for the diagnosis and monitoring of neurodegenerative and oncological diseases. Patients seeking advanced, non-invasive approaches to conditions like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS, and cancer may find his expertise in cerebral thermodynamics and the BTT method valuable.
