I am a clinician-scientist and retinal ophthalmologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the retina, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion and many other retinal and macular pathologies.

I practice very patient oriented medicine, and treat each and every patient the way I would like to be treated by the physician. I practice evidence-based medicine, but I tailor diagnostic and treatment modalities according to each individual, because no two patients are alike.
