About Me
Dr. M. Alan Dickens is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and cataract surgery. He has been providing expert eye care at Raleigh Ophthalmology in Raleigh, North Carolina since 1996. Dr. Dickens is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and other professional organizations.
Dr. Dickens completed his glaucoma fellowship at Emory University Eye Center and his ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest University Eye Center. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University (Bowman Gray School of Medicine) and his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Wake Forest University. His extensive training and decades of experience allow him to offer comprehensive care for patients with glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye conditions.
Dr. Dickens is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based treatments for his patients.
