Dr. Laura Voicu

Dr. Laura Voicu is a glaucoma and cornea surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist who helps patients protect and restore vision. She completed fellowship training in glaucoma and cornea at UCLA and completed ophthalmology residency at the Duke Eye Center, including an additional year as chief resident focused on teaching and supervising cataract surgery.

Her practice includes medical management of glaucoma, laser procedures, and glaucoma surgery options including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). She also treats ocular surface disease and dry eye, with a special interest in balancing dry eye care for patients using glaucoma medications. Dr. Voicu is passionate about cataract surgery and evidence-informed care. She earned her medical degree at Mount Sinai in New York City and completed undergraduate and master’s studies at Wesleyan University in molecular biophysics.
