About Me
Dr. Kyle Godfrey is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained specialist in oculofacial plastic, reconstructive, and orbital surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. He provides comprehensive care for both cosmetic and functional conditions affecting the eyelids, eyebrows, mid-face, eye socket, and tear drainage system. Dr. Godfrey is committed to personalized treatment plans, prioritizing non-surgical approaches when possible and utilizing minimally invasive techniques to reduce scarring and recovery time when surgery is necessary.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Godfrey is an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and actively contributes to medical education and research. He serves as the Program Director of the Ophthalmology Residency at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and has received multiple teaching awards. His research focuses on advancing minimally invasive techniques for orbital and skull base tumor surgery, and he collaborates with specialists in neurosurgery and otolaryngology to improve patient outcomes.
