Meet Dr. Kurt August Schwiesow

Dr. Kurt Schwiesow is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist whose practice centers on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. He additionally performs cataract surgery, including refractive lens implantation and laser cataract surgery, and was the first glaucoma specialist in Wisconsin to offer the Trabectome procedure, a minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Schwiesow has extensive experience with a full range of glaucoma treatment options. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at continuing education events for eye care professionals. He also holds an appointment as Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
