Dr. Khuram Khan is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained retina specialist at Germantown Retina in Germantown, Maryland. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of retinal and vitreous diseases, including conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, and macular holes. Dr. Khan brings advanced training in vitreo-retinal surgery to his practice, having completed a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at Tulane University and additional retina fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital.
Dr. Khan completed his undergraduate studies cum laude at the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree at Pennsylvania State University. He served as an investigator in a phase 3 clinical trial and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Khan has been recognized as a Washingtonian Magazine Top Doctor for multiple years. Prior to establishing his practice in Maryland, he ran a successful solo practice in Las Vegas, Nevada.
