About Me
Dr. Kevin Kirchner is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at LSU Health Sciences Center. He specializes in neuro-ophthalmology and oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery, providing care for conditions affecting the optic nerve, eye movement disorders, and cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and surrounding structures.
Dr. Kirchner sees patients at multiple LSU Eye Clinic locations, including in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Bogalusa. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Tulane Health System and a clinical fellowship at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Jefferson Parish Medical Society.
