Meet Dr. Katy Anna Coggins

Dr. Katy Coggins is a glaucoma specialist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with glaucoma as well as age-related cataracts. She focuses on active listening, clear explanations, and collaborative planning so every visit ends with a shared understanding of next steps. When surgery is appropriate, she offers options ranging from minimally invasive glaucoma procedures to complex cataract surgery, and tailors recommendations to each patient’s needs and lifestyle.

Dr. Coggins completed medical school and residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She enjoys educating patients and families about eye health and is committed to long-term follow-up to preserve vision over time.
