About Me
Dr. Colina-Biscotto is a retinal specialist providing care for patients with vitreo-retinal diseases and macular conditions. She has extensive experience in retina research and has done extensive work on the treatment of ocular melanoma and other tumors. Dr. Colina-Biscotto's approach includes advanced surgical techniques for the most difficult vitreo-retinal surgical cases.
Dr. Colina-Biscotto completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center where she served as chief resident, followed by advanced training in retina surgery at El Salvador Hospital in Chile. She currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Yale School of Medicine and is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Retina Specialists.
She is fluent in English and Spanish and accepts patients at multiple office locations throughout Connecticut. Dr. Colina-Biscotto continues to contribute to her field through publications in peer-reviewed journals and lectures at international meetings.
