Meet Dr. Judith Mohay Ambrus

Dr. Judith Mohay-Ambrus is an ophthalmologist at UofL Health with clinical interests in comprehensive ophthalmology, glaucoma, and cataract surgery. She serves as an associate professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Dr. Mohay-Ambrus earned her medical degree from Albert Szent-Gyorgyi University in Hungary in 1981. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Louisville Hospital and at Albert Szent-Gyorgyi University, Szeged. She also completed a fellowship in ophthalmology at the University of Louisville Hospital and a research fellowship at INSERM U86 in France. Dr. Mohay-Ambrus provides care for patients with glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye conditions, and she performs cataract and glaucoma surgery. She is fluent in English.
