Meet Dr. Joseph Ryan Turner

Dr. J. Ryan Turner is an ophthalmologist specializing in adult ophthalmology conditions, with a focus on cornea and external diseases, as well as refractive and LASIK surgery. He provides comprehensive care for corneal disorders, cataracts, and uveitis, offering advanced treatments such as corneal transplantation and collagen corneal crosslinking for keratoconus.

He completed his medical education at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. His ophthalmology residency was conducted at the University of Alabama-Birmingham's Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital, followed by a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Oklahoma's Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City.
