About Me
Dr. Miller is a specialist in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. His research examines ophthalmic optics and how refractive error affects visual development. He leads a project funded by the National Eye Institute of the National Institutes of Health.
He completed his ophthalmology training at Yale University and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins University. Since 1991, he has been with The University Physicians and holds joint appointments in the College of Optical Sciences and the College of Public Health at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Miller is on the hospital staff at University Medical Center, Tucson Medical Center, University Physicians Healthcare Hospital at Kino, and St. Joseph's Hospital. He also serves on the staff of Children's Clinics of Rehabilitative Services and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Clinic, and volunteers as a consultant to the Indian Health Service Sells Service Unit. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
