Dr. Jordan Rixen

Dr. Jordan Rixen is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a focus on advanced surgical procedures for vision correction and eye disease. He specializes in treating cataracts with premium lens implants, performing corneal transplants, and offering laser vision correction including ICL implants. His expertise helps patients achieve clearer vision and manage complex eye conditions.

He completed his medical education at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine after graduating from Iowa State University. His postgraduate training involved an internship at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin, followed by a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Rixen is actively practicing in multiple Nebraska communities, including Lincoln, Crete, Syracuse, Tecumseh, and Nebraska City. He holds professional appointments at several local hospitals and surgical centers. Outside of his clinical work, he is an avid sports fan who enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three children.
