Dr. Jonathan Corsini

Dr. Jonathan Corsini is a military-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist and LASIK surgeon specializing in corneal refractive surgery. He served eight years in the United States Air Force, performing thousands of refractive surgery procedures on pilots, special forces, and active-duty members of all military branches. After separating honorably at the rank of Major, he returned to his birth state of Pennsylvania to establish Corsini Laser Eye Center with the mission of providing premier, patient-centered refractive surgery to the greater Philadelphia area.

Dr. Corsini is the area’s foremost expert in SMILE (Small Incision Lenticular Extraction), the latest advancement in laser eye surgery. During his military service, he was the most prolific SMILE surgeon in the military, with 98% of his patients achieving 20/20 vision or better. He is also a nationally-recognized expert in LASIK and PRK, and he recommends the most suitable procedure for each patient’s unique prescription and lifestyle.

Committed to advancing the field, Dr. Corsini has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented at multiple national conferences. He is passionate about academics and mentoring, teaching surgery, optics, and wellness to residents and medical students.
