Dr. Jonathan Etter

Dr. Jonathan Etter is a board-certified ophthalmologist who joined Physicians Eye Care in 2016. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Duke Eye Center and then pursued a fellowship in cornea and external disease at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which is consistently rated as the top eye hospital in the country.

Since 2012, Dr. Etter has been on faculty at the Krieger Eye Institute in Baltimore, where his commitment to patient-centered care has been recognized with awards such as the Resident Teaching Award and the All-Star Champion of Care Award. His innovative research has earned national recognition, including the Ophthalmology Times Writers Award, and he has published in leading ophthalmology journals.

Dr. Etter provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. He performs advanced procedures including cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and laser refractive surgery. He also manages a wide range of conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye syndrome, and provides routine eye exams for glasses and contact lenses.
