Dr. John Hagele

Dr. John Hagele is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing medical and surgical eye care to patients in Grass Valley since 1997. He is an active staff member at Sierra Ambulatory Surgery Center and Sierra View Medical Eye, Inc. Dr. Hagele is committed to excellence in eye care, taking the time to get to know his patients and practicing whole patient care.

Dr. Hagele completed his residency in ophthalmology at Loma Linda University and his internship at San Bernardino County Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He offers comprehensive ophthalmology services, including diagnosis and management of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Hagele is dedicated to using advanced techniques to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. He believes in a personalized approach, ensuring each patient's unique needs are understood and addressed.
