About Me
Dr. Jodianne Carter is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been dedicated to the patients of Heart of America Eye Care since 2001. She offers advanced no-stitch cataract surgery with intraocular lens options that correct astigmatism and presbyopia, helping patients achieve clearer vision after surgery. Dr. Carter also provides comprehensive eye exams and medical management for conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye.
Dr. Carter completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, followed by an internal medicine internship and an ophthalmology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Ophthalmology.
