Dr. Jessica Chen

Dr. Jessica Chen is a fellowship-trained cornea, external disease, and refractive surgeon who helps patients regain clarity and comfort with customized surgical and medical care. She performs modern cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and the full range of corneal transplantation—tailoring techniques to the condition and visual goals. She also manages complex anterior segment problems and ocular surface disease with a focus on relief, function, and long-term stability.

Dr. Chen earned her medical degree at Yale School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, and advanced fellowship training in corneal and anterior segment surgery at the Devers Eye Institute. Her interests include DMEK, DSAEK, DALK, PK, and Boston Keratoprosthesis (KPro) for severe corneal disease, as well as refractive solutions for active lifestyles. She is committed to clear communication, careful surgical planning, and compassionate follow-up so patients know what to expect at every step.
