Dr. Jerome Swale

Dr. Jerome Swale is an ophthalmologist practicing comprehensive eye care with a focus on refractive and laser vision correction. He emphasizes helping patients achieve independence from glasses and contact lenses through advanced surgical techniques, including LASIK and lens-based refractive procedures. Dr. Swale also offers minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) for patients with glaucoma.

Dr. Swale is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has extensive experience in the field. He completed his undergraduate degree magna cum laude in chemistry at Taylor University and earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. After a surgical internship at Naval Hospital-San Diego and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, he joined Fisher-Swale-Nicholson Eye Center in Bourbonnais in 1991. Dr. Swale later founded Solutions in Sight Laser and Surgery Suite, where he continues to provide in-office surgical care.

Dr. Swale is dedicated to patient education, taking time to explain the benefits of refractive surgery to help patients feel comfortable with their treatment options.
