About Me
Dr. Jeremy Aikey is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing as a vitreo-retinal surgeon. He has completed advanced fellowship training in medical and surgical diseases of the retina, focusing on age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular conditions, and surgical management of retinal disorders.
A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Aikey earned his undergraduate degree from Lehigh University, his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and an MBA in Executive Healthcare Management from St. Joseph’s University. He then completed an ophthalmology residency at Ohio Health Hospital System in Columbus, Ohio, followed by a fellowship in vitreo-retinal disease at Retina & Vitreous of Texas/Methodist Hospital in Houston.
Dr. Aikey has contributed to publications and presentations covering diabetic eye problems and macular degeneration, bringing a research-informed perspective to his clinical practice. He provides comprehensive retina care for patients with complex retinal conditions.
