Meet Dr. Jennifer Coben
About Me
Dr. Jennifer Coben is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After a transitional internship in internal medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital, she completed her ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and then pursued fellowship training in glaucoma at Emory University in Atlanta.
Dr. Coben’s care focuses on helping patients understand what is happening with their vision and what treatment options best fit their needs. She values clear explanations, practical guidance, and a team-based approach to decision-making.
Whether the goal is to restore vision after cataracts or to prevent further loss from glaucoma, Dr. Coben works to provide thoughtful, individualized care built on trust and education.
