About Me
Dr. Gallo is an ophthalmologist at Worcester Ophthalmology Associates who treats a broad spectrum of eye conditions including cataracts, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and disorders of the cornea. He has specialized expertise in corneal and external diseases and performs complex procedures such as corneal transplantation.
Dr. Gallo earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center, where he received the Pewett Award for excellence in residency training. He then pursued a fellowship in Corneal and External Diseases at the New England Eye Center and is board certified in ophthalmology. He has also been active in organized medicine, serving as president of the Massachusetts Society of Physicians and Surgeons.
